Meet and collaborate with other practitioners from participating PDK Chapters.  All attendees are

Meet the presenters

Shawna Ebbeson, MS

Shawna grew up in a large family, being second oldest of six children.  She is a seasoned entrepreneur and has owned and operated a pet sitting business, an in-home early education learning center, as well as co-operates her husband's music business.  Shawna holds a B.S. in Organizational Communication and an M.S. in Early Childhood studies with over 30 years of field experience in both.  Shawna currently works independently as an Early Childhood Consultant and adult educator with several keynote speaking engagements every month.  She is president of Walden University Cyberspace Chapter of Phi Delta Kappa and pursuing a Post-graduate certification in Digital Marketing and Professional Development.

Donna Kjellander, MBA

Donna Kjellander teaches courses in Marketing, Human Resources, Business, Communications and Leadership along with being a Life Coach in regards to job searching, resume writing and interviewing skills. Donna also specializes in Social Media and how to integrate into your business to grow your customer audience. Donna has her BS in eBusiness Mangement, MBA with specializations in Human Resources and Marketing, she is working on a PsyD in Psychology with an emphasis in Organizational Leadership. She has spent over 20 years in the Automotive industry working in Training & Education, Human Resources and Marketing. Donna has been educating adults for well over 30 years utilizing a variety of medians from classroom to online to hybrid. Donna is a small business owner selling handmade artesian products. Donna currently resides in Texas with her husband, plus her furry children, Scooby and Stitch.

Debbie Schager, MBA

Debbie Schrager received her Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts and Psychology from St. Mary’s College and a Masters in Business Administration from State University of New York at Binghamton.

Ms Schrager has consulted with corporate America and small business as a consultant in critical thinking, decision making, conflict resolution, communication, leadership and other management concerns. With over 25 years of teaching and corporate training in Colorado and Indiana, Ms. Schrager is an experienced trainer.

When not working, her hobbies include being a mom to her 2 daughters and going to Lake Michigan. She resides in Granger, Indiana.

Lisset Pickens, Ed.D.

Dr. Lisset Pickens is a Georgia Certified Elementary Teacher, Georgia Licensed Professional Counselor, Nationally Certified Counselor, Nationally Certified School Counselor and Educational Specialist with an extensive and impressive background in elementary education and counseling, collegiate level instruction, child and family development and psychology. Dr. Pickens specializes in working with children ages 2 through adolescence, as well as parents of any age. After working within the school systems of Georgia and teaching education and psychology level courses across various Colleges and Universities, Dr. Pickens saw that their was still a need in the community and that this need was social change.  Dr Pickens is of Christian faith and truly believes that her faith,family and education will guide her towards implementing a program that is designed to improve the quality of life for children and to provide adequate resources for parents. Dr. Pickens openly acknowledges that it is truly a blessing and an honor to serve the community in this aspect.

Chris Clark, Ed.D.

Dr. Clark has been in public education for 20 years. He has taught middle and high school mathematics, served as the LEA Accountability Director, been an Assistant Principal and is currently in his eighth year as Principal. He received his National Board Certification in Early Adolescent Mathematics in 2000.
Dr. Clark holds an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke (UNC-P), a master’s degree in Middle Grades Education from Fayetteville State University, a master’s degree from UNC-P in School Administration, an Education Specialist degree with a specialization in Mathematics from Liberty University, and his Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University.
He is married and has 3 children and 2 grandchildren. 

Molly Kay Wright Starkweather, M.A.

Molly Starkweather is a tutor in the Kaplan University Writing Center and teaches writing online through Kaplan University. She is also a full-time mom of a toddler, and she enjoys working with colleagues and students who are also striking a balance between higher education and children. Molly's family has two generations of PDK members.  She lives in Rhinebeck, NY with her husband, Rev. William Starkweather and one-year-old daughter, Ryan (adorned with her father's middle name). 

Dawn Boyer, Ph.D.

Dr. Boyer has co-authored an article with Dr. Clark.  

Dr. Boyer has 22+ years of senior management experience in human resources, of which 12 years is in government contracting. She has written 60+ books in Business Development, Women’s History & Program Studies, Career Search Skills, Genealogy, Family History, as well as Fiction (40 of which are available via CreateSpace,Amazon.com, in paperback and Kindle).

Dr. Boyer is also an SBA Mentor for SCORE: Service Corps of Retired Executives, offering free mentoring to businesses and entrepreneurs to achieve their goals.
