Remembering Pearl Harbor

Our mascot, Dr. Bernstein, has traveled with me for the past 3 years.  He was purchased for $30 and has a new home now.  Looks like it's time for a new mascot :)

This funny little guy is called a Cattle Egret. This bird is an immigrant of Hawaii. Like the barn owl and the mongoose, the cattle egret was brought over as a natural way to manage rodents and insects that threaten local crops.
